- Use of hand/power tools to measure and cut materials to required dimensions
- Working with resin saturated fiberglass molds to produce and bond together components
- Clean, wax and prepare molds for use
- Grinding fiberglass
- Preparing surfaces for coating, maintaining sandblasting equipment, mixing or blending, and applying primer coatings by spray, brush or roller, and preparing equipment to be send to the Assembly Plant.
- Painting the finish surfaces
- General knowledge of surface preparation and use of paints, epoxies, resins, and other coatings associated with industrial painting.
- General knowledge of conventional and airless spray equipment and its use.
- General knowledge of non- destructive coating inspection wet mil gauges.
- Safety practices of the work, hand tools and air operated equipment used in the work.
- Mix and apply primer coatings to surfaces and equipment associated with natural gas compressors and pumps.
- Wash, mask and tape areas surrounding surfaces to be painted
- Clean and maintain brushes, rollers, sprayers and other related equipment.
- Read and interpret Material Safety Data Sheets and safety and operation instructions.
- Additional duties as needed
