Position Summary
Brandon & Clark is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering/picking up products to and from customers, spotting new business prospects, and building strong customer relationships to maximize business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, upselling products, and calling customers ahead of time to confirm orders and delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company vehicle to deliver products to customers along a designated route.
- Call customers in advance to confirm orders, schedule deliveries, and discuss any special requests.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Take customer orders accurately while promoting additional products and services.
- Collect payments, process invoices, and reconcile accounts when required.
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, sales transactions, and customer interactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in sales, delivery, or customer service is a plus.
- Experience pulling a trailer is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic math and inventory management skills.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy products (up to 100 lbs).
- Familiarity with sales software or handheld devices (preferred).
