- Learn how to navigate the different screens in BICS as well as their purpose and relationship to BICS functions.
- Review and understand data relationship between the various areas of the Benefits Issuance Control System, Welfare Management System and Connections.
- Gain an understanding of BICS functions and how data is captured and stored in BICS as well as how changes impact different functions of the BICS.
- Gain an understanding of BICS Service Payments and the BICS functions impact on those payments. Including authorizations, roster generation, voucher processing, check production and composite generation.
- Gain an understanding of coding of purchase of service types including commodity codes, rates, level of difficulty, eligibility, indicators, Connections activities, retro claiming and accounts adjustments.
- Gain expertise in all BICS Inquiry functions to review data and testing results.
