What are the responsibilities and job description for the Java Programmer with IBM MQSeries Exp - Albany, NY (Onsite) position at Brandon Consulting Associates?

This position will be in support of the NY state client. This program will encompass multiple projects to modernize legacy systems within the NYS, which is responsible for billions in state revenue. Some of the major areas under modernization include :
- Collections and Accounts Receivable
- Taxpayer Accounting
- Withholding Tax Returns Processing
Specific duties include, but are not limited to :
Ensure that defects and issues are addressed promptly based on priority.

84 months experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML.
84 months experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD) that are deployed to Websphere Application Server (WAS).
84 months of IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation).
60 months experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
60 months of experience in IBM MQSeries
60 months experience with an organization which includes technical design, development, maintenance and end user support of complex system.
