Oracle Data Warehouse Developer - Albany, NY (Onsite)

1. Work in coordination with a team of developers to expand the current Data Warehouse.

2. Design / model, construct, load, and validate the data tables through the enterprise Data Warehouse architecture.

3. Work with Business Analyst & customers on analysis and logical design for mappings and ETL.

4. Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.

5. Perform complex PL / SQL coding in a Data Warehouse environment.

6. Responsible for load issue resolutions, load inquiries, 2nd level testing of issues and code fixes, infrastructure upgrades and enhancements

7 .Perform writing of complex stored procedures / triggers in an Oracle database utilizing OWB and ODI

8. The individual in this position will work under the direction of a Technical Lead & Project Manager.

Exp You Have 1 84 months experience in reverse engineering Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) ETL processes and developing new replacement Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) processes while maintaining consistent functionality. 7.5 2 84 months experience Data Modeling (Dimensional & Relational), process improvement, normalization / de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing, data manipulation in a child welfare environment 11.25 3 84 months experience working in an Oracle Data Warehouse performing development work using PL / SQL 7.5 4 84 months experience using advanced Extract / Transform / Load techniques including bulk select, bulk insert, arrays, dynamic SQL and developing detailed incremental ETL processes. 7.5 5 84 months experience developing and testing maps, performing source-to-target mappings, storage capacity planning and developing ETL in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 7.5 6 84 months experience in SDLC including : requirement gathering, development, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation and production support, load issue resolutions, load inquiries, 2nd level testing of issues and code fixes, infrastructure upgrades and enhancements (Oracle upgrades). 7.5 7 84 months experience working in UNIX or LINUX environment developing Unix Shell Scripting and sftp protocols 3.75 8 84 months experience in build database schemas, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures 3.75 9 Bachelor's Degree 3.75
