Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of workers' compensation cases from intake to resolution.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and responses with the NJ Division of Workers' Compensation.
- Maintain and organize case files, medical records, and evidence.
- Draft correspondence to clients, medical providers, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Coordinate and schedule court hearings, depositions, and independent medical examinations (IMEs).
- Review and summarize medical records, employment records, and other relevant documents.
- Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, adjusters, and medical providers to gather necessary case information.
- Assist with settlement negotiations and prepare settlement documents.
- Conduct legal research related to workers' compensation laws and case precedents.
- Track and manage deadlines for hearings, motions, and filings to ensure compliance with legal timelines.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Compensation Range : 80,000-$85,000 USD
Benefits : Full Time Employees and Part Time Employees over 30 hours per week
