What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech 2pm-10pm position at Brandon NRC LLC?
Brandon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC is seeking a full-time Floor Tech. We're looking for someone to perform the daily expectations in accordance with facility the guidelines to assure that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

We offer services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and dementia/Alzheimer's care. This level of care would not be possible without our compassionate and focused staff working with residents, families, and physicians to create individualized and effective care and treatment plans.

JOB KNOWLEDGE AND ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Floor Techs are expected to: dust, sweep, mop, polish and vacuum each assigned room, by utilizing the tools provided by the facility. Each room would be expected to ensure the safety and comforter of each residents, and maintained in an attractive manner.
2.Move and arrange residents furniture and equipment as directed by the Supervisor.
3.Clean dining areas at the completion of each meal serving; along with adhering to weekly cleaning.
4. Adhere to all precaution warnings; related to chemical hazards indicated on containers.
5. Interact with residents, family members, co-workers, clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental and supportive manner.
6. Participates in the orientation of new employees as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Communication skills which may be inclusive of approach, tone of voice, speed of communication, respectfulness and non verbal communication
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Possesses a High School Diploma or sufficient knowledge and education to perform job functions.
2.Is capable of setting work priorities and working independently in the absence of supervision.
3.Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
