What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Medical Receptionist position at Brandon Riverview Medical Associates?
_ We are looking for a Front Office Medical Receptionist for our Primary Care/Urgent Care Practice. We are seeking applicants with a positive attitude, good communication skills and ability to multi-task._
Desired applicant should be friendly, a team-player, and an eager employee that can engage with our patients while performing essential front-desk functions that include:
- Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries.
- Checking patients in/out and scheduling appointments
- Answering high-volume incoming calls and take messages accordingly
- Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
- Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. (HIPAA)
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
- Collecting balances, copays, co-insurances
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm - Monday through Friday
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and skills.
Employees qualify for benefits after 90-day probationary period
