Brandon is a boys' Nonprofit Residential School that provides exceptional stabilization, assessment, educational, residential, clinical, and case management services. We believe in empowering boys aged 7-18 years old to overcome their past and create a brighter future.
As a Residential Shift Supervisor, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team to create a therapeutic milieu that upholds Brandon's standards of CARE. Your creativity will be essential as you implement engaging ideas to involve youth and families in treatment, such as traditions and activities.
In this role, you will provide leadership, support, professional development, and regular supervision to Residential Counselors, ensuring they have the tools and guidance to excel in their roles. You will also oversee the program's physical environment, ensuring it meets quality standards and licensing requirements, creating a clean and organized home-like living environment.
We understand the importance of family involvement, even in out-of-home placements. That's why you will play a vital role in maintaining an inviting space for all Brandon community members and external parties visiting, especially family members. By making them feel like a part of their child's life, you will contribute to their overall well-being.
Strong communication skills are crucial in this role, as you will be responsible for constant communication with treatment team members, department heads, family members, and collaterals. You will also maintain documentation systems in the program, ensuring they are timely, clear, and concise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a minimum of five years of experience in the human services/mental health field, including supervisory experience.
- A valid MA driver's license and DEEC CORI/DCF background check are required.
- Must be able to to participate in physical interventions if necessary
- MAP certified is a plus

In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive wage of 21.63 an hour, as well as a sign-on bonus of $1000 for full-time employees.
