Sales Counselor Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed personal sales expectations
- Successfully complete ExSell training and implement SalesFIRST standards in daily communication with prospects and influencers
- Manage the sales process from initial inquiry to residency, promoting the community to prospects and facilitating the process through needs assessment and recommendation
- Negotiate obstacles and issues collaboratively with community management
- Respond promptly to new inquiries and maintain timely follow-through
- Utilize SalesForce effectively to input data and manage assigned lead base
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to set goals and identify areas for improvement
- Develop effective presentations through prospecting, including phone calls, referrals, emails, home visits, and video
- Staff the office to meet business needs, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Communicate with key influencers to facilitate timely commitment to the community
- Participate in marketing events as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing
- Understand and represent all documents related to residency, including Residency Agreement and Disclosure Statement
- Provide feedback to community leadership on information learned through the sales process
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times
