Job Overview
The Email and Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing an organization-wide email and social media strategy to optimize engagement with our content. This includes coordinating with necessary departments to maintain calendars, voice, brand, technical standards, and procedures, producing measurable impact towards generating a steady stream of quality leads, and managing the company's social media presence.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement a strategic marketing plan and systematic approach to generating leads via email nurture, content marketing, and social media.
- Develop the company's lead generation engine (for email nurture, content marketing, and social media) to drive new business via BrandRep.com lead capture.
- Develop segmentation/vertical strategy and measurement for new client acquisition as well as ongoing client communication
- Lead the day-to-day management of automated lifecycle of email campaigns
- Create cold email marketing campaigns to promote webinars, newsletters as well as service, transactional offers and operational emails
- Build engagement and cross-sell email campaigns to educate and incent our clients to adopt new products
- Leverage marketing automation to build emails and develop transactional, promotional, and informational content strategies that maximize customer conversion & retention and deliver against business goals
- Manage the day-to-day targeted communications marketing calendar, including asset coordination, QA and development of all campaigns
- Accountable for defining, tracking and measuring email marketing KPIs, with ongoing efforts to continuously analyze data, identify trends, and implement optimizations to better drive our prospect and client communications
- Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Customer Success teams to build a seamless lifecycle experience for our customers
- Understand consumer segmentation / behavior & identify consumer insights to leverage in lifecycle marketing
- Build & schedule email campaigns and cadence
- Curate email and social media content, writing or directing supporting copy.
- Improve email signup during initial prospecting process
- Create and manage company newsletter and email calendar
- Establish and manage newsletter themes and creation
- Review newsletter performance/metrics and provides insights
- Manage email lists, social media accounts, and marketing segmentation.
- Lead email marketing tests to improve targeted campaigns to generate leads for the sales team
- Manage internal requests for newsletter content and promotional emails
- Serve as an in-house expert of email and social media tools for clients.
- Monitors and optimizes communication between email campaigns, CRM, & sales
- Oversee social media efforts for the company and content development for blogs and posts
- Manage company reputation and reviews
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5-7 years direct marketing and email and content marketing required (B2B preferred)
- Well organized and great attention to detail
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Email marketing with knowledge of current trends and industry best practices
- Experience creating email nurture series with automated triggered campaigns
- Experience in social media marketing management
- Skilled in exceptional copywriting, communication, and presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Experience in working marketing automation tools, such as HubSpot or Marketo
- Incredibly organized, efficient and a critical thinker; taking on complex projects, breaking them down logically, and owning them from start to finish
- A customer-centric mindset, always seeking ways to improve the prospect and customer experience
- Experience with post-email campaign analysis and uncovering insights to optimize future campaigns
- Prior roles as a “player/coach”, willing to roll up your sleeves
- Ability to multi-task and operate with a sense of urgency and accountability
- Experience with call centers and a Digital Agency is a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development
