Your territory will include the St. Louis Metro area and the surrounding areas with very little travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate Leads & Close Sales: Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the commercial sector, specifically targeting the sale, rental, erection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems and related solutions.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer specifications and prepare proposals that meet their needs, coordinating engineering services as necessary. Confidently present proposals, address objections, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Project Management: Coordinate the entire sales process, from initial contact through delivery, erection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems. Ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability by providing leadership and direction to job site crews.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, regularly communicating about job requirements and ensuring the safe and effective use of our products and services.
- Financial Management: Prepare accurate and timely invoices for customers. Follow up on past-due accounts while maintaining positive relationships.
- Sales Operations: Maintain detailed records of sales activities and expenses. Utilize our CRM (Salesforce) to track leads, opportunities, and sales progress. Stay informed about competitor activities and industry trends.
- Technical Support: Provide on-site support to address any issues with scaffolding systems that do not meet specifications. Order necessary parts and coordinate job site personnel.
- Business Development: Develop short-term and long-term strategies to acquire new customers and expand market share. Conduct quarterly "Lunch and Learn" sessions to educate customers about BrandSafway's capabilities.
- Safety Advocacy: Promote a strong safety culture by emphasizing the importance of proper training and adherence to safety guidelines when using our equipment. Ensure that customers are aware of all safety features and protocols to minimize risk and maximize worker well-being.
Sales Tools & Compliance:
- Use Safquote for bidding and learn BrandNet to help perform customer take-offs.
- Negotiate and coordinate contract reviews to mitigate risk.
- Utilize Salesforce to track leads, manage customer relationships, and generate reports.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with local sales management to align sales strategies and market growth initiatives.
- Follow the new sales rep onboarding program for the first year to ensure a strong foundation in BrandSafway’s processes and solutions.
- Travel off-site to gain hands-on experience and knowledge of BrandSafway’s fleet of solutions.
- Use Safquote for bidding and learn BrandNet to help perform customer take-offs.

- Utilize Salesforce to track leads, manage customer relationships, and generate reports.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years of sales experience in the construction industry, preferably with knowledge in scaffolding and access solution.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, understand specifications, and prepare accurate estimates.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective customer interactions and sales presentations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex information, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually with an uncapped commission. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
