Spider by BrandSafWay, designs and manufactures suspended access equipment products including traction hoists, drum hoists, suspended scaffolding, modular platforms, rigging equipment, aerial work cages or swing stages, along with wire rope and required electrical and welding accessories.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Location: Grandville, MI
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily equipment and preventive maintenance inspections;
- Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary repairs; ensure equipment is properly repaired on a timely basis;
- Provide high quality control standards by inspecting and testing all equipment prior sending it to the job site;
- Perform complete inspections and tag returned rental equipment, noting any damage or other necessary repairs and make repair recommendations;
- Inspect work to ensure repairs and replacements have been completed correctly;
- Identify any additional equipment issues while performing primary repair work;
- Follow established procedures to track work and complete forms connected with work assignments;
- Produce timely and detailed service reports (record repairs made, parts used, time spent on repairs, etc.);
- Ensure the equipment is clean, properly maintained and in a optimal location;
- Local travel is required
- Follow safety rules and regulations;
- Occasionally participate in interventions on construction sites;
- Perform any other additional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of experience in related work;
- Must posses basic hand tools (Specific/specialized tools will be provided)
- Proactive & reactive maintenance ability.
- Clean/active Driver's License
- Both verbal & written effective communication skills
- Ability to maintain organization.
- Stress management skills;
- Comfortable to work at heights;
- Self-disciplined, honest, mature, adaptive, client focused, results driven, efficient and attentive.
- Flexible and able to adjust to change;
- Good learning abilities;
- Work well with little supervision;
- Physically able to carry out the requirements of the job;
- Safety conscious.
- Class A CDL highly desired.
- Ability to read hydraulic and electro semantics highly desired.
- Vocational diploma in mechanics desired.
- Experience repairing scissor lifts, Ariel lifts, boom lifts and small motors highly desired
- Experience utilizing Rental Man platform desired.
