What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic/Video Designer (Hybrid) position at Brandtailers?
At Brandtailers, the Graphic Designer works with the Senior Designer and Art Directors to produce approved design work and complete internal production requirements using computer layout / illustration / pre-press software. In laymen's terms, you'll get to ideate design, and execute all manner of creative for our clients! This means social posts, eblasts, in-store posters, logos and lockups, display ads, print ads, video content and even broadcast television.
DO YOU HAVE THE REQUIRED GOODS?
- Proven graphic designing experience (5 or more years, agency experience is preferred)
- A strong portfolio of graphic design and video work (required)
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Web design experience
- Email platform knowledge
- Video / animation experience for a variety of platforms
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus
- Tremendous room for growth.
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic based on required brand guidelines
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce the final design
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
