What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Brandywine Agency, Inc.?
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the apartment complex and the day to day maintenance operations of the community under the direct supervision of the Property Manager. Essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, painting and basic HVAC repairs
- Repairing showers, doors, cabinets, drywall and building exteriors, windows and fences
- Responsible for unit turnovers/make ready assignments for rentals
- Installing subfloors and replacing various types of flooring
- Clean outs of units
- Completion of all maintenance service requests
- Responsible for Emergency Maintenance Service
- Monitor all building systems as designed
- Carry cell phone as required for on call maintenance
- Schedule and complete Preventative Maintenance Program
- Work within expense limits established
- Coordinate Special Projects as directed by the Property Manager
- Perform all work related duties in a fair, ethical and consistent manor
Job requirements: . Skills in the various areas of carpentry, basic electrical and light plumbing, masonry painting and basic HVAC repairs. This job requires exerting 50-100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 30-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 15 to 25 pounds of force constantly.
Salary will be based upon experience.
