Property Manager
We are looking for a motivated Property Management Professional to manage the operations of a large apartment complex in accordance with management directives and fair housing, federal, state, and local laws. The ideal candidate must be committed to keeping the community well maintained and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
-Oversee daily operations of the property including managing staff, handling tenant inquiries and ensuring the property is well maintained
-Coordinate leasing activities including marketing available units, screening potential tenants, executing lease agreements and managing move-ins and move outs
-Develop and implement strategies for tenant retention, including organizing community events, addressing tenant concerns, and maintaining open lines of communication
-Conduct regular property inspections to assess the condition of the property. identify necessary repairs or improvements and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
-Handling maintenance and repair issues promptly, coordinating with contractors and maintenance staff to ensure property remains in excellent condition and that turnovers are completed timely
-Enforce property rules and regulations addressing violations and managing disputes between tenants to maintain a harmonious living environment.
-Perform maintenance and/or custodial duties as needed.
Qualifications
-At least 2 years in property management and/or leasing, excellent communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to use the internet, supervisory experience is a plus; knowledge of light plumbing, electrical and maintenance is also a plus but not required.
