What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Grounds Maintenance Crew-Laborer position at Brandywine Bay Golf and Country Club?
Brandywine Bay Golf and Country Club, located in Morehead City, NC, is looking to hire a full time (and maybe some part time) team members for the golf course grounds crew. Dependable, Self Driven and Team Player individuals, that enjoy working outdoors, are encouraged to apply. He/she is under the direct supervision of either the crew foreman or the golf course superintendent.
- Typical job duties will include but not be limited to: raking sand bunkers, weed whacking, mulching, planting flowers, backpack blowing, pruning, pulling weeds, bush trimming, filling divots, emptying trash, and other projects on the golf course.
- Typical work hours are Mon-Fri from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and some weekends (usually rotated, unless there are team members who have a preference to work the weekend hours). Weekend hours are typically Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 am to 9:30ish am. Flexible hours are available for the right individual.
Reliable transportation to and from work is required. Must be able to pass a background check. Drug Free Workplace.
Pay is based upon experience and discussed/approved by Maintenance Superintendent and/or Club Ownership.
Summary
As a Golf Course Grounds Maintenance Crew-Laborer, you will be essential in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. Reporting to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, your core responsibilities will include landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and general maintenance tasks. Your premium skills in irrigation will ensure efficient water management, while your relevant skills in lawn care, gardening, and the use of hand and power tools will enhance the overall aesthetics of the course.
