Base Salary $80,000 to $100,000 plus Bonus

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Assist in evaluating and assessing opportunities in existing and new investments across below investment grade asset classes; (performing through distressed).
  • Maintain credit opinions, develop well-researched fundamental short and long-term outlook and relative value assessments of sector responsibilities.
  • Provide responses to inquiries from marketing, RFP, product management, distribution, and clients.
  • Maintain and update models, analytics, valuation, and risk reports.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of financial markets, current events, and global / U.S. economies and analyze their impact on portfolios.
  • Proactively develop and foster relationships with industry contacts to ensure constant flow of information.
  • Provide input into portfolio management decisions relating to security selection, liquidity, and pace of execution.

  • Education / Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree with strong financial, mathematical, and analytical skills preferred. CFA, MBA, and other industry licenses a plus.
  • Knowledge of global fixed income securities and benchmarks.
  • Knowledge of fixed income and multi-asset class investment products and strategies is a plus.
  • Experience with electronic execution platforms and order management systems such as MarketAxess, Trumid, Tradeweb, and Bloomberg AIM is a plus.
