We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Companion to join our team at Brandywine Living in Melville, NY. As a Healthcare Companion, you will provide one-on-one support and companionship to our residents, enhancing their overall quality of life.
About the Role
This is a full-time, part-time, or per diem opportunity with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. You will work closely with our care management team to deliver exceptional care and services to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support and companionship to residents, engaging them in activities and conversations
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Encourage socialization and engagement among residents through various activities and events
Requirements
- Valid HHA Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Compassionate, patient, and good communication skills
- Caregiver experience with seniors (preferred)
- Be vaccinated for the flu (during flu season)

Salary
