What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Technician position at Brandywine Plaza Hotel?
We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises.
Responsibilities
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, plumbing etc.)
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems
- Assist with carpet repairs and cleaning.
- Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
- Perform manual repairs when necessary
- Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide.
- **HVAC Experience is a plus**
- Must have ownership of their own tools
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization
- Perform duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor ot Property Manager
Skills
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Construction Knowledge a plus
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- Must possess the ability to lift over 100 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
