Role Overview:
We’re seeking a proactive Lead Generation Specialist to fuel our software development agency’s growth by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential clients across multiple channels. You’ll be responsible for building a consistent pipeline of qualified leads, collaborating closely with sales and marketing to align messaging, and ensuring a smooth handoff of potential opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting & Cold Outreach
- Research target markets and ideal client profiles
- Conduct personalized outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
2. Social Media and LinkedIn Engagement
- Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator and similar tools to find and engage prospects
- Participate in relevant groups, post content, and foster relationships
3. Inbound Lead Qualification
- Work closely with marketing to quickly respond to inbound leads from website inquiries, content downloads, webinars, etc
- Qualify leads based on budget, timeline, and alignment with our services
4. Referrals and Partnerships
- Cultivate relationships with existing clients and partners to generate warm referrals
- Seek out complementary service providers (e.g., design agencies, SaaS vendors) for co-marketing opportunities
5. Networking and Events
- Attend virtual and in-person conferences, trade shows, and meetups
- Engage new contacts, follow up promptly, and track in CRM
6. Freelance Platforms and RFPs
- Monitor specialized platforms (Upwork, Clutch, etc.) and respond to relevant postings
- Bid on projects that align with our agency’s expertise
7. CRM Management and Reporting
- Update lead statuses, maintain accurate records, and measure outreach effectiveness
- Provide regular progress reports and pipeline updates to sales leadership
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years in lead generation, sales development, or business development. Having worked in a software company or software development agency is required
- Sales & Marketing Tools: Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator would be ideal
- Technical Familiarity: Comfort discussing software development basics (Agile, Scrum) and conveying value propositions to non-technical audiences
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal abilities; adept at crafting personalized outreach and quickly building rapport
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead-gen targets, coupled with strong follow-through and organizational skills
- Self-Starter & Team Player: Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight while collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, technical leads)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
