Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with precision measuring instruments. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products through meticulous inspection and testing processes. The Technician will work closely with engineering and production teams to maintain high standards of quality assurance.
Responsibilities
Ability to perform accurate and thorough inspections of various parts and assemblies.
- Communicate non-conformances in technical terms both written and oral
- Review and disposition of non-conforming material and process material transactions.
- Communicate non-conforming material conditions to designated supplier, buyer and engineer.
- Organizational skills to perform detailed follow up on Corrective Actions
- Common knowledge of machine tool basics (mechanical, electrical, pneumatics)
- Support other quality functions within Operations such as workmanship, packaging standards, etc
Experience
- Proficiency in using PC-DMIS, SolidWorks, and coordinate measuring machines is preferred.
- Familiarity with tooling, mechanical systems, and precision measuring instruments is essential.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and codes/standards relevant to the industry is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar technician role or related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision while contributing to KPI
- measures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and symbols including GD&T.
