What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Maintenance Technician position at Branex Group?
Duties:
- Start Up Activities
- Preventative Maintenance Activities
- Work Order Assignments
- Assist Operators with diagnosis and troubleshooting – Machine issues
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Production Management – priority and equipment availability
- Facility Maintenance as assigned
Overall:
- Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures
- Visually inspects and tests machinery or equipment
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines.
- Dismantles defective machines or equipment and installs new or repaired parts
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings and other parts of machinery or equipment
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatuses such as transformers, wiring and electronic
components of machinery or equipment
- Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems, related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related components
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment
- Installs, programs and repairs automated machinery or equipment such as robots or programmable controllers
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions and other wooden structures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
