What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator (Entry Level) position at Branex Group?
In this role, you will support company products by coordinating the venue component of our seminars. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the ability to utilize performance data and best practices to drive optimal venue type and placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the venue booking process from start to finish, which includes, but is not limited to venue research, insurance requests, catering, contract completion, payment, payment, and follow-up.
- Proactively seek top performing venues based on performance metrics
- Make recommendations to Hosts and leadership based on venue trends and performance data you find.
- Identifying potential issues relating to venue performance or local issues and communicating to leadership (ex. COVID-19 related closings, climate, etc.)
- Process Venue Viability requests to determine what is viable and available in the requested area.
- Work closely with our educational venue partners to book events for company seminars
- Utilize Salesforce for processing venue orders as well as ongoing maintenance
- Assist with optimizing the venue process in Salesforce as well as updating historical data as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in event coordination, customer service, or event planning a plus
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders.
- Ability to proactively address and find solutions
- Work well independently as well as a part of a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Previous experience with CRM platform (Salesforce.com preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and OneDrive), Google Docs, etc.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
