Material Flow Industrial Engineer
Duration : 1 year minimum extensions
Travel : may have to travel to other plants up to 20% of the time
Must Haves :
- 5 years of experience in a materials movement / industrial engineer position (preferably in the automotive industry or related)
- Experience with AMR's (autonomous mobile robots)Material flow backgroundExperience in layout changes
- Day to Day : As a Material Flow Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for executing AMR's (autonomous mobile robots) in manufacturing plants. The role would also include layout changes, communicating with supplier and plant, financial PO approval, and progressing through each stage of design. The materials IE in this position will work cross functionally with various internal and external supplier groups to ensure launch of automated equipment is executed properly through design, reviews, PO's, validation, installation, material flow, and start or production.
