Electrical Technician
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for fabrication, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels
- Assemble machines and panels to ensure efficient fabrication of said panels
- Sound knowledge of electrical wiring and gauges, power system protection and relaying, and mounting PLC’s inclusive of troubleshooting
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings, panel assembly layouts, and blueprints
- Extensive knowledge with various hand and power tools
- Select, size, drill, and fit all required mechanical components
- Prepare, cut, strip, and attach all needed electrical wires and cables
- Familiar with electrical code and standards in addition to HVAC electrical installations
- Arrange, align, and join all electrical and mechanical parts in order to build a complete control panel
- Fabricate machine parts, piping, and duct work with hand tools and specialized machinery on-site or in a shop environment
- Maintain stock for all panel building material, equipment, or related supplies
- Clean and organize job site and equipment
Required Experience
- Electrical wiring
- High Voltage – 480V
- Mechanical aptitude
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
