Job Summary :
The Tax Manager, International will oversee all international tax operations for our team, including compliance, tax provision, and planning initiatives. This role involves managing tax filings, leading cross-border planning efforts, improving processes, handling tax audits, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities :
- Tax Compliance & Provision : Ensure timely preparation of international tax forms (e.g., 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 1042) and manage the annual / quarterly income tax provision processes.
- Cross-border Planning : Lead and assist in international tax planning projects, including risk assessments, transaction strategies, and implementation.
- Process Improvement : Identify and drive process improvements within the Tax Department.
- Research & Documentation : Analyze and document international tax issues and maintain audit-ready working papers.
- Team Collaboration : Coordinate with internal teams to optimize resources and achieve tax objectives.
- Tax Authority Engagement : Respond to inquiries and manage tax audits with federal authorities.
- Leadership & Mentorship : Supervise and develop junior tax professionals, ensuring high performance and growth.
- Communication : Clearly convey tax issues, opportunities, and solutions to senior management and other teams. Qualifications :
- Required :
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Accounting
Advanced tax-related degree or CPA
