What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Maker position at BranexGroup?
2nd shift - 3:00 PM-11:00 PM - $0.60/HR shift premium
3rd shift – 11:00PM - 7:00 AM - $0.75/HR shift premium
- Must have Journeyman Card OR 8 years of verifiable experience
- Plan setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools, considering types of material, tolerances, types of cutting tools, coolants, lubricants and machine tool feeds and speeds
- Weld repair and heat treatment of different materials including tool steels.
- Determine specifications for inspection of work, using precision measuring and gaging tools performing required inspection before, during and after machining
- Perform hand operations involved in producing jigs, fixtures, tools and dies.
- Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools and dies. Sets up, runs off and tests dies to produce a product to specifications, tracing die difficulties to their source and correcting same
- Tear down, repairs and reassembles tooling on the bench or in the press as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
