2nd Shift; 2:30PM - 1:00AM (Monday - Thursday)
Job Summary:
Wires machines, equipment and their subassemblies following layouts, electrical circuits and other written and verbal specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read, comprehend and interpret Wiring Diagrams.
- Understand and support Company philosophies, goals and directions including ISO9001 and14001 policies and procedures.
- Job Report labor correctly and in a timely manner.
- Safely apply material handling processes.
- Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Team/Group Leads.
- Set the department / area standards in housekeeping, attendance and teamwork by example.
- Possess working knowledge of standard hand tools.
- Interact professionally with customers in the plant and field.
- Practice good communications with Leads and team members.
- Possess working knowledge of standard and special tooling.
- Perform all line wiring operations.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Know and understand the missing parts system.
- Practice good communications; train employees/customers.
- Recognize problems with electrical designs and parts, take appropriate corrective action to resolve.
- Recommend improvements for work area, products and processes.
- Perform proto type work with limited Engineering and minimal supervision.
- Perform and/or oversee machine installations in the field.
- Analyze designs for correctness, functionality and cost effectiveness.
- Perform Panel component changes as well as build panels.
- Build and wire multiple product lines.
- Complete safety training on the use of overhead cranes and follow all safety requirements when using overhead cranes.
- Complete safety training on the use of fall protection and follow all requirements when applicable.
- Complete Lockout / Tag out training using all required items when performing Lockout.
- Work safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Adhere to the 5S standards in the work area.
- Communicate any discrepancies’ or errors on prints, materials list etc.
- Interact with teams on second and third shift to obtain positive results on productivity and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments.
Work Environment:
Employee may be regularly exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear climb or balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stretch, crouch. Lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requires close focus, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.

Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
