What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool and Die Repair position at BranexGroup?
1st shift – 7AM – 3:30PM
2nd shift - 3:30PM-12AM - $0.60/hr shift premium
3rd shift – 10:30PM - 7AM - $0.75/hr shift premium
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, or EDM machines to fabricate parts
- Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools using hand tools or precision measuring instruments
- Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects using precision measuring instruments
- Test completed tools or dies to ensure that they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with tooling or equipment to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineers or tool designers to develop new tooling designs or modify existing ones
- Maintain accurate records of tooling maintenance and repairs
- Connects wiring and hydraulic lines to install electrical and hydraulic components.
SKILLS
- Experience repairing large dies both inside presses and outside presses
- Proficiency in hydraulics systems

Journeyman card preferred - $1.00 per hour additional for Journeyman.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
