Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Technician to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our operations and providing exceptional service to our clients during their most challenging times. The Assistant Technician will assist in various tasks, including heavy lifting, event planning, and funeral directing, ensuring that all services are conducted with the utmost respect and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and setup for funeral services and events.
• Perform heavy lifting and transportation of equipment and supplies as needed.
• Support funeral directors in coordinating logistics for services.
• Engage with families to provide bereavement support and guidance during their time of need.
• Help plan and organize events related to memorial services.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related field such as event planning or funeral directing is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Sales experience is a plus, as assisting families with service options may be required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
