Salary Range: $22.00 - $26.00/Hour
Position Summary:
The Recruiting Coordinator will provide administrative and physical support in the coordination of recruiting efforts. You will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process and programs, creating an exceptional candidate experience through a people-first approach while ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team.
This role is a full-time, in-office position.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is essential for this role.
Core Responsibilities:
· General administrative support for recruiters, including any compliance related updates, etc.
· Post and maintain current open requisitions on multiple sources, including compliance per DOL requirements and updating wage ranges based on current benchmarking.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS. Enter any applications (physical copies, resumes from other recruiting sources) into ATS.
· Assist in sourcing and identifying potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.
· Assist in scheduling/coordinating orientations, communicating details and logistics to all parties involved.
· Serve as a point of contact for candidates, providing timely and positive communication throughout the recruitment process answering frequently asked questions related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
· Initiate pre-employment process, including drug screens, backgrounds, etc.
· Facilitate onboarding process ensuring all necessary documentation is complete, including processing/submitting hourly paperwork and entering/uploading all corresponding information and documentation into HR system.
· Coordinate new hire onboarding and support new hires as part of their assimilation, including any assistance with the employee portal; navigation, updating information, benefits enrollment and general questions.
· Manage logistics for, and attend career fairs, networking events and other recruitment activities.
· Order and maintain swag inventory and PPE for new hires as well as recruiting events.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Proficient with, or ability to quickly learn applicable software and programs such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Job boards such as, LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor, etc.
· Strong skills in database management and record keeping, specifically within an ATS.
· Solid organizational skills with a strong focus on the details.
· Customer-centric mindset with a passion for people, culture and engagement ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and meeting the needs of internal stakeholders.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully interact with employees at all levels, and work collaboratively with team members, hiring managers and other stakeholders, building strong relationships.
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees and candidates.
· Possesses a strong sense of ownership with the proven ability to work efficiently, be self-directed and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
· Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
· Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative when dealing with ambiguous situations.
· Knowledge of various employment laws and practices directly related to recruiting.
· General knowledge of benefits programs.
Education and/or Training:
· High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
· Experience in any of the following areas preferred: sourcing, recruiting, or high-volume hiring. Alternatively, a combination of high-volume administrative support and related skills will be considered.
