POSITION SUMMARY: Brannen Bank is currently seeking a dynamic, detail orientated Retail Operations Analyst to join our team. The Retail Operations Analyst is both an operational support and hands-on role that will be a critical component to promoting the company culture and advancing strategic operational and client experience initiatives. The Retail Operations Analyst will be responsible for auditing branch work, ensuring that all work adheres to branch operating procedures and compliance guidelines, and completing a variety of retail operations support functions.

- Support retail branches through review and documentation of multiple critical functions.
- Complete Key and Non-Negotiable Documentation Audits identifying deficiencies, reporting results, and ensuring accurate correction of said deficiencies.
- Demonstrates proven abilities evaluating, implementing, and developing procedures, including CIP, CDD, and EDD.
- Documents internal control deficiencies and regulatory exceptions and notifies BSA Officer of identified areas needing improvement or correctional training.
- Review, monitor and analyze Verafin alerts, notify BSA Officer of activity requiring the filing of Suspicious Activity reports.
- Assists with completion of reviews, including exception reports, change control maintenance, and related documentation.
- Gather and identify reports and supporting metrics while demonstrating the ability to filter and present resulting data to BSA Officer.
- Act as a subject matter expert on account documentation topics and escalate as needed.
- Review branch deposit and transaction reports and place appropriate Reg CC holds to minimize risk exposure to the bank and client.
- Monitor and review all Reg CC holds placed by the branches for compliance and procedure violations.
- Develop a wide knowledge of products, policies, and procedures to fulfill customer needs and solve problems daily.
- Provide policy, procedure, and process guidance to branch staff when required.
- Identify deficiencies and potential risk areas that may need further review and/or potential enhancements to procedures to ensure limited bank exposure.
- Identify forms that need review to create efficiencies for review and Retail Staff.
- Identify processes or procedures that need review to create efficiencies for Retail.
- Escalate priority issues to BSA Officer and make training recommendations for branch staff as needed.
- Provide exceptional client experiences to both internal and external clients.
- Participate in education and training to attain essential knowledge and information.
- Assist with projects and implementing new policies, procedures, and regulatory changes as assigned.
Act as a technical resource for the various branches and departments for matters pertaining to CIP, CDD, OFAC, REG CC, Fraud, New Account, Account Maintenance, and Legal Review
