Department: Asphalt Plants
Reports to: Plant Manager / Yard Foreman
Major Role and Purpose:
- Install and maintain equipment used in the manufacturing of Asphalt
- Dismantle, repair and re-assemble heavy industrial machinery
- Install equipment such as shafting andconveyors
- Work with a variety of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment
- Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs
- Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned
- The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of hydraulics, belt systems, motors, and other industrial machine mechanisms
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright or similar job preferred
- In depth knowledge of construction equipment and machinery
- Reading blueprints and schematics
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
