We are currently seeking career oriented, motivated and quality driven applicants for a Project Lead Technician role. This position requires leadership qualities and the desire to grow and improve these skills. Project Leads will need to be experienced and proficient in all facets of the install phase along with the ability to assign tasks to technicians and provide guidance and support for a timely completion.
Job Summary :
Works in a team and independently, in the completion of project installs assigned by Project Management. Lead Technicians are responsible for the timely completion of daily procedures and documentation they are assigned.
- Requires excellent communication skills
- Ability to navigate PC and system software
- Adapt to challenges by implementing custom solutions
- Lead by example, mentor and motivate
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50lb
- Oversee and complete installation and setup of assigned projects
- Designate tasks for on-site crews with proper instruction
- Guide and monitor tasks for quality assurance
- Communicate with other trades and General Contractors
- Request proper materials and equipment for upcoming tasks
- Assess remaining tasks to forecast project scheduling
- Document daily notes, changes and requests via CRM software
- Communicate and report to Project Manager on daily basis
- Professional communication and appearance
- Highly detailed and accurate documentation
- Proficient in all basic and intermediate low voltage tasks
- Competent skills with PC and configuration software
- Clean driving record and background check
- Minimum of 2-year field experience
- Crestron and Control4 automation systems
- Crestron and Binary MOIP video distribution
- Netgear, Ubiquiti and Pakedge network solutions
- Crestron and Control4 centralized lighting
- Luma, 2N, Doorbird surveillance and access control
- Custom Theater Room and sound treatment
Key Job Responsibilities :
Lead and motivate a team of technicians to successfully complete high-end residential and commercial audio / video and control system projects, ensuring client satisfaction and exceeding project deadlines.
