Job Title : Front Desk Fitness Specialist
Summary : We are searching for a gym receptionist with good interpersonal skills, competence in simple clerical duties and a general knowledge of, and appreciation for exercise and fitness. The ideal applicant will be reliable and self-motivated to complete multiple tasks with efficiency and have an excellent attitude.
Shift :Skills & Qualifications :
Enforce Gym Policies - Ensure members & visitors adhere to all gym rules & procedures, providing a safe environment for patrons and preventing property damage or liability.
Customer Service - Provide an exceptional experience to members and visitors.
Knowledgeable - Supply information on gym hours, amenities, equipment, classes, membership rates and other items to new visitors or potential members.
Oversee check-in procedures for existing members & visiting guests.
Accurately process new memberships and visitor passes.
Answer phone calls and monitor the gym surveillance system.
Schedule appointments for gym tours, fitness orientations and personal training sessions.
Complete all requirements in a timely manner.
Facility Maintenance Duties and Requirements :
Complete the opening or closing Duties Checklist. (See Attachment)
Regularly clean equipment and various gym areas during and at the end of every shift.
Perform periodic walk-throughs of the facility to replace any displaced equipment.
Test and adjust the pool chemicals to adhere to public health and safety regulations.
Must be available to work opening and closing shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
This role requires the ability to properly and safely lift 50 pounds
Requires standing, walking, bending for extended periods of time, ensuring a professional demeanor, and clear communication.

Experience :
