Summary:
Washing and folding, sorting and organizing laundry action items as outlined by Laundry Supervisor
Shift:
Full Time; 7:30am - 3:30pm and 3:30pm - 11pm
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ensures that the highest possible hygiene and finish standard of linens are maintained at all times.
- Be able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitors wash formulas and use of washroom chemicals in order to maintain linen quality and stocking with the various soaps and products.
- Lifting and moving items up to 60 pounds
- Pushing / Pulling up to 60 pounds
- Be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for majority of shift.
- Use of arms / hands in manual dexterity functions to operate laundry equipment.
- Inspect, check for stains, rips, or tears on items of laundry and separate accordingly.
- Operating, loading and unloading dryers, ensure proper care when using equipment.
- Unload and load trucks with linen as needed
- Neatly fold and bag laundry
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facility to ensure a safe and compliant work space

Experience:
- Cleaning and/or laundry experience (Preferred)
