Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong hotel maintenance knowledge and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.
Duties
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team in daily operations, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules. Training will be provided as necessary.
- Ability to learn and execute various tasks relating to maintenance of a hotel, including painting, various repairs, pool maintenance, pressure washing, etc.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Develop training programs for staff to enhance their skills in maintenance management and safety practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and improve overall facility performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a maintenance environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for effective maintenance management.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
