Brantwood Family Services operates a comprehensive, long-term residential program for pregnant and parenting women that emphasizes a family-centered, relational approach to recovery. Brantwood Family Services is accredited by CARF International and licensed by the Maryland Behavioral Health Administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED;
One year of janitorial, food service, or customer service experience preferred

This position requires moving between buildings on the campus, ascending/descending stairs, pushing and pulling carts & cleaning equipment, and moving boxes/supplies/janitorial equipment weighing up to 30lbs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the environment of care by cleaning and sanitizing common areas such as dining halls, bathrooms, etc. (ie., wiping/scrubbing surfaces, sweeping and mopping);
- Removing trash and placing in designated receptacles;
- Serving meals to residents in accordance with established guidelines;
- Receiving food/supply orders and re-stocking;
- Assisting with inventory and ordering processes;
- Assisting with special events;
- Reporting safety hazards or maintenance needs;
- Occasionally assist in de-escalation of residents, as needed;
- Informing/educating residents on common sanitation and infection control practices;
- Contributing to a safe and supportive therapeutic environment in which residents are treated with respect and dignity in line with principles of trauma informed care.
