Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our dynamic team in the food service industry. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our restaurant operates smoothly by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff will contribute to an exceptional dining experience. This role is only for Friday & Saturday dinner shifts during the service hours of 4pm-11pm. Hourly pay tips!
Responsibilities
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly after guests leave.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
- Help with food handling by delivering dishes from the kitchen to the dining area as needed.
- Communicate with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or needs from guests.
- Support catering events by setting up and breaking down service areas as required.
- Ensure all utensils, glassware, and dishes are clean and properly stored.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies needed for service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
