Food & Beverage Manager

**Job Summary:**
The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of the food and beverage operations at Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa. This role involves leading a team to deliver high-quality dining experiences, managing inventory and budgets, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in food and beverage management, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage cost control, menu planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial and operational goals for the food and beverage department.
- Recruit, train, and manage food and beverage staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Create and update menus in line with customer preferences and seasonal availability.
- Monitor food and beverage inventory levels and oversee purchasing to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold quality standards.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Analyze financial and performance reports to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

**Additional Requirements:**
- Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in food and beverage management.
