We currently have an opening for a Golf Cart Attendant!
Summary: Assist guests with their bags and cart.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain golf carts in a clean and professional image at all times.
Maintain service area, bag drop, bag room and driving range.
Empty trash inn all areas.
Properly mark and label golf bags and rental clubs.
Pick up driving range during the day and at night.
Secure golf cart barn and bag room.
Greet all customers at all times. Assistance should be offered immediately. Thank all customers when they arrive and leave.
Hospitality is an important part of each associates job.
a. We stress the importance of a warm smile and an enthusiastic desire to aid the customer in any way possible;
b. The quality program is directly linked to hospitality and customer satisfaction. It is making the extra effort to help a guest solve a problem by directing them to the right department or person for help, if you are unable to solve the problem;
c. It is imperative that you be able to give directions on the property and in the general area. You should be able to direct guests to popular sights and restaurants.
Each associate is expected to carry out all reasonable requests by management which the associate is capable of performing.
The Resort functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours per pay. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that it may be necessary to adjust their work schedule from their accustomed shift due to business demands.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Familiar with the game of golf.
