Job Description:
Braswell & Son is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Bilingual Pawnbroker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, with a passion for helping customers meet their financial needs through buying, selling, and loan services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet and engage with customers to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Buying and Selling: Evaluate items brought in by customers for purchase or pawn, ensuring fair pricing and transparency.
- Loan Processing: Assist customers in securing loans against their valuables, explaining terms and conditions clearly in both languages.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of transactions and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, sales, or a pawnbroker environment preferred.
- Bilingual Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Customer Service Orientation: A friendly demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
