ACADEMIC SUPPORT TEACHER
Specialized Program - Access Hub
Brattleboro Union High School has an opening for an Academic Support Teacher in a specialized program that supports struggling learners for the 2025-26 school year. Candidates for this position should have an understanding of research-based practices for reading and math instruction, intervention, a strong dedication to SEL practices and behavioral support, assessment, an ability to work well on a team, and the flexibility to work with a number of different students both in the classroom and in small group settings. Candidates for this position will also help with family outreach and engagement in the school community. An understanding of the Vermont MTSS structure and approach is beneficial. Successful candidates will be able to discuss their experiences working with the students from historically marginalized demographic groups. Candidates must be licensed or licensable in Vermont with endorsements in Math and/or English and/or English Language Arts.
