About Us:
We are a busy multi-doctor private practice seeking two FULL-TIME doctors techs to join our team. If you have a passion for helping people and an interest in the field of optometry, this is a great opportunity for you. Experience in optometry is preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate. This position offers the chance to become CPO/CPOA/CPOT certified once you’re established in the role (requires passing 2-3 certification tests). Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.
Job Description:
In this role, you will work closely with our doctors and patients, assisting with various clinical tasks. This is a hands-on job that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work hard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient workups, including obtaining the patient’s history, checking visual acuity, and conducting pretests.
- Perform special testing such as OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography), Fundus Photography, and Visual Fields.
- Assist with all other assignments related to patient and clinical care.
- Support the doctors and team with any other clinical tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Must be able to work Saturdays.
