Job Description:
As a Front Desk Receptionist, you'll be responsible for managing the front desk and providing exceptional customer service. You will be the first face our patients see, so a friendly, approachable demeanor is essential. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is capable of juggling multiple tasks in a busy environment. Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a friendly smile and provide excellent customer service.
- Schedule appointments both in person and over the phone.
- Verify insurance information daily to ensure accuracy.
- Send appointment reminders to patients daily.
- Post payments for glasses, contact lenses, and other services.
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, ensuring calls are answered promptly and professionally.
- Triage calls and appropriately schedule patients for emergencies, as well as routine appointments.
- Pay close attention to detail when entering patient information to avoid billing issues later.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate patient records and billing.
- Must have a strong work ethic and be punctual.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is highly preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
