Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Staff Scientist/Geoscientist to join our Kansas Investigation & Remediation Division in our Lenexa or Topeka, Kansas offices. The preferred candidate should have between 0-3 years of professional work experience and hold at least a bachelor’s degree in geoscience, environmental science/engineering, or related field. Compensation Range:
$48,000.00 - $72,000.00

- Conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) which will include interviewing property owners, conducting Site assessments, and reviewing/summarizing pertinent regulatory documents.
- Assisting with report writing and data tabulation including Phase I and II ESAs, and other technical documents for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct field work such as installing groundwater monitoring wells, collecting soil, groundwater, and air samples, and other field activities.
- Oversight of subcontractors in the field including drillers and remediation contractors.
- Collaborate and build relationships with other members of the firm, vendors, and assist clients with developing creative solutions for environmental problems.
- Building relationships with coworkers, clients, vendors, and partners.
- Travel to local and regional project sites (up to 20% travel, based on project needs).
