Braun Northwest, Inc. (BNW) is now hiring for a Freight Receiving/Forklift Operator in Chehalis, WA.
The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week with a start time of 6:00am. This position is overtime eligible. The compensation for this position is $18-$22/hr DOE/DOQ.

BNW is looking for the right candidate to fill our open Freight Receiving/Forklift Operator position. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and stocking of incoming freight shipments of parts and materials used in the production of emergency response vehicles.
In order to be successful in this position, the candidate must be able to:
- Use a computer for email, Microsoft Office Excel and inventory management software.
- Safely and competently operate a stand-up forklift to move material and load and unload trucks.
- Examine incoming shipments for damaged or missing items and correspond with appropriate buyer to resolve issues.
- Verifies incoming shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
- Count, weigh and measure incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Lift, carry, or otherwise move boxes and materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Use a hand truck and pallet jack for moving bulky or heavy items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production team environment.
Required Education/Experience:
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic, normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years' experience shipping and receiving, stockroom management and knowledge of inventory principles. We are looking for good communications skills, both written and oral. Microsoft product expertise. Someone who is detailed oriented and has good organization skills. Prior forklift experience (1 year preferred with forklift certification).
