Lake Mead Christian Ministries (LMCM) Minister - Health Aide
Job Type: Part Time; 24 Hours per Week (Tues/Wed/Fri)
Department: Health Services (Security)
Reports to: Schoool RN/Health Services Coordinator
Compensation: $15-16/hour
Job Summary: Assists the school nurse by providing basic first aid, managing student health, providing care for injury/illness, and helping to maintain a safe and healthy school environment.

Essential Job Functions
- Administers medication
- Provides basic first aid
- Assists and monitors students with illness
- Documents injury or illness events
- Communicates with parents and support staff
- Assists with emergencies
- Promotes health education
- Maintains confidentiality
- Assists at student events for first aid availability
- Must be CPR/AED & first aid certified by start date, if not already
- Previous medical experience highly preferred (Medical Assistant, CNA)
- Must be comfortable assisting with illness and injuries
- Must be comfortable with blood and other body fluids
- Ability to think critically
- Good time management skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Comfortable with computer documentation/computer literate
- Must be comfortable caring for students varying in age from toddler to adolescence
- Ministry Scholarship for LMCA and Lil’ Eagles tuition; Reductions - Minimum of 20 hours of employment weekly, 20% scholarship, additional years 5% until max of 30%
