Compensation: $31,209.00 - $38,000.00 (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary: The job of a Technology Technician is to remove, install, repair network hardware as well as perform software installations and updates. They will be performing operational checks on hardware and software throughout the ministry while resolving network problems as they arise. Technicians will be responsible for monitoring the performance of computer networks, mobile device management systems and documenting operational activities. They will be instrumental in assisting staff with audio/video equipment and device connections via airplay and hardwire. They will work closely with departmental directors and heads to prepare instruction manuals for each department and for the ministry as a whole.

Essential Job Functions
- Works closely with staff and students to resolve any technical issues that may arise on campus.
- Ensures all devices are set up correctly and in a timely manner for all new staff.
- Connects necessary devices to WIFI, necessary printers and other working devices.
- Assists in all audio and visual installations as well as helping resolve any technical issues.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP routing protocols and understands VLAN operations including trunking and tagging.
- Understands WiFi SSID assignment.
- Understands RF radio transmission of data and VOIP telecommunications.
- Holds Prefer Network Plus or Security Plus certification.
- Networking and switching experience
- Associates degree or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred.
- Other duties as supervisor deems necessary.
